Aisling B a is born on on 16 March, 1984, in Kildare Ireland. The comedian has been on QI together with Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, also known as her stage name Aisling Bea (born on 16 March 1984) is an Irish actress, writer and stand-up comic. Bea began her stand-up show in 2011after having appeared in bits in several Irish TV shows as well as British shows since the year 2009. As early as 2012, Bea was appearing on sitcoms or sketch comedy. After her victory in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was booked for a variety of panel shows. From 2016 to 2017 she was a team captain on 8 Out of 10 Cats and a regular contestant for the spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. The parents of her are Brian and Helen O'Sullivan. She has one younger sister, Sinead. She became only the second female to win So You Think You're Funny in the year 2012. Bea is her maiden name in honour of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan is a Kildare woman who was born in Kildare. Born on March 16th 1984. Bea's father Brian is an equine doctor who committed suicide when she was only three years old. Bea didn't learn how her father passed away until she reached the age of thirteen. Bea was her stage name. Bea was a tribute for her father. She wrote an opinion piece in The Guardian, published in 2017, about her experience dealing with suicide. Bea (and her sister Sinead) were raised in a home by Helen Moloney who was a educator and jockey trainer who was also a professional jockey. Their family was passionate about horses and races. Bea started out as a tourist guide for the Irish National Stud. But she quickly realized that her passion was for acting, not racing.
